700c Spinergy Rev X X-Tra Light Carbon 4-Spoke Wheelset: 8/9 Speed

The legendary Spinergy Rev-X wheels were designed by a former Cannondale engineer named Rafe Schlanger in the early 1990's. In the landscape of that era not expanding much past standard J-bend spokes and box rims, these wild wheels with with four flat carbon spokes per side were nothing short of alien. They were popularized later in the 90's and became iconic perhaps with the assist of a certain Marco Cipollini pic in the pink jersey aboard his Saeco C'dale from the 1997 (1998?) Tour De France....
