Set of vintage American Bricks from the 1940's. 220 in all. These are the original wooden , mostly painted red but with some gold bricks included. These toy pieces interlocked similar to Lego blocks, and featured a distinctive vertical grooving on the outer faces to simulate brickwork, each stamped with the American Bricks name. Set includes 135 red 1 1/2 inch bricks, 30 yellow 1 1/2 inch, 54 red 3/4 inch bricks and a few ramp blocks 3/4 inch
