1741 Spanish Columnario “pillar dollar”, “pieces of eight” (placeholder)

$50.00
Kirkland, WA

Description

Not everyone - myself included - can afford to have authentic pirate treasure. This is a very good replica of a Spanish colonial milled dollar, used around the world as legal tender until the 1800’s. It’s made well enough to fool most people who aren’t coin collectors. It’s served its purpose for the last decade or so, now it’s time to get rid of my collection. Fascinating history, but not enough time to devote, I’m afraid. 🫤
