Gorgeous MCM Danish Rosewood Buffet/Sideboard + Hutch by Skovby - Excellent Condition

$1,250.00
Redmond, WA

Description

Danish-made Skovby Møbelfabrik rosewood, bow-front buffet/sideboard with matching display hutch from the “Palis” line (RS26P & RS36P), designed by Per Hånsbæk. This is a true mid-century Scandinavian 2-piece set featuring a subtle bow-front design, sculpted drawer pulls, and stunning bookmatched rosewood grain throughout. The lower sideboard offers generous storage with a bank of five immaculate, solid-wood dove-tailed drawers (two are felt-lined), and two side cabinets with adjustable shelving. The upper hutch includes three glass doors, six adjustable glass shelves, and lighting in each section —perfect for display. The two pieces are currently unstacked (ignore the tarp reflection in the hutch photos - the glass is in perfect condition). I've included a stock photo of the same model set, showing the display hutch on top. Condition is excellent-vintage overall. The finish has been cleaned and refreshed; some very light surface scratches on the top are visible at certain angles, typical for age, and they have been minimized. DIMENSIONS Credenza: 78”W x 32"H x 19”D (15"D on the bow-front ends) Display Hutch: 60"W x 41"H x 15"D (13"D on the bow-front ends) SUMMARY HIGHLIGHTS: Danish-made by Skovby Møbelfabrik Rich rosewood with dramatic grain Bow-front design (subtle curved face) Felt-lined drawers Glass display hutch with shelving Solid, high-quality construction If needed I can help arrange for professional delivery.
