The 3448P is a Fast Ethernet (10/100) switch that offers 48 ports and up to 17.6 Gbps switch capabilities. Four of the 48 ports are Gigabit uplinking ports for stacking switches together. These four ports are combo ports and can be Ethernet or SFP fiber for longer line travels. The Dell PowerConnect 3448P supports advanced management features such as broadcast storm control, auto-speed and auto-duplex negotiation in addition to port mirroring. As a power over Ethernet switch, the Dell 3448P is a IEEE 802.3af compliant network device that can provide the full 15.4W to end devices such as IP phones.
