2005 special edition fender stratocaster
Description
up for sale is a gorgeous electric blue fender stratocaster. it’s a stunning guitar and plays so smoothly, but i just don’t play anymore and this guitar deserves to be played more than i have been lately. i originally bought it used so i am the second owner. the person i bought it from was a semi-serious musician and he said he played all the guitars in the store and this one played the best, and he definitely chose very well. it is a 2005 electron blue factory special run standard strat with a rosewood fretboard. not 100% sure about the body and neck, but i think they are likely alder and maple, respectively. it’s always played like a dream. i got the bridge fixed in 2007, but i genuinely do not remember what the original problem was; i thiiiink just needed it to be lowered or something minor along those lines. the color is hard to capture in photos. it is quite amorphous - it varies from a bright, electric blue to a darker, midnight blue depending on the light. there is a small chip on the body as shown in the photos. there’s also a crack where the neck joins the body, but from what i can tell it is only cosmetic. it hasn’t caused any problems when playing or anything, though i am also not knowledgeable enough to know for sure either way. i think i asked someone about it once and they didn’t seem concerned, but i’ve never had it professionally looked at. it comes with the stand pictured, a soft padded case, and an extra set of strings. i have strap locks on it, however the strap is currently missing. i am pretty sure i have it stashed somewhere and will include it as well. i do still have the original strap fasteners, so if the buyer doesn’t want the strap locks at all, i can take them off and put the originals back on. i am sad to part with it, but it is a beautiful instrument that deserves to be played rather than sitting around silent. if you have any questions, want more photos, or want to test it out, let me know
