2003 Honda Civic

$3,200.00
Monroe, WA

Description

!!PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION!! Bought for $4,400 from a used car dealer in March under the impression it had been fully inspected and was reliable. Since then, it has developed a drivability issue. 111,476 miles on it. Asking $3,200 obo, price very negotiable. The car starts normally but will only move slowly. It appears to be an electrical issue affecting shifting—the transmission struggles to shift, and the speedometer stays at 0 while the car is moving (not a transmission failure). Code reader shows P1655. The body is in great condition, and the engine runs. Likely something a mechanic or someone familiar with electrical diagnostics can sort out. Work done since purchase: • New ECU – $85 (plus reprogramming to immobilizer from locksmith — $180) • Oil change – $110 • New air filter – $20 • New battery – $130
