Digitech X-Series XMM Heavy Metal Distortion pedal

$30.00
Musical InstrumentsVancouver, WA

Description

Remember the 90s? DigiTech made this whole series of affordable loudly colored pedals equal part darkly serious, silly stupid, and ass kicking. This particular pedal, the Heavy Metal Distortion, has the unique distinction of being the only pedal in the whole X-Series to not feature an embarrassingly goofy-ass name. This pedal features two separate outputs. One is the typical amp output, put out two was some kind of 90s era amp emulation or something intended to go straight into a mixer apparently. It actually has two pretty distinct distortion sounds. One supposed to be kind of Marshall classic metal vibe, the other probably meant to sound closer to like a Mesa Boogie rectifier sort of thing. The morph knob is the mix between those two sounds so you can find pretty interesting blends between the two.
