FUJI 12-speed road bike, 58cm, total refurb, old-school cool!

$200.00
Portland, Oregon

Description

I'm just finishing up a complete refurbishing of this nice older (early 1980's I think) Fuji "Grand SE" road bike (see pics). This is an old-school, steel frame bike, and we all know that "steel is real" right? The frame size is 58cm (23"), with a top tube of 57mm and a standover height of 83.5mm (or just 1/8" shy of 33"). If you're between 5'10" and 6' even then the bike should be a good fit for you. The bike is mostly stock, the exceptions being the newer saddle, the new chain and the newer 27" tires. The bike has the original 27" x 1-1/4" wheels with UKAI aluminum rims and Sunshine hubs + QR skewers. Also, the original front derailleur was damaged so it was replaced with a SunTour AR. The bike has just been completely serviced: • front and rear hubs overhauled • headset overhauled • bottom bracket overhauled • new inner cables and cable housing • new Taya chain • wheels trued • brakes and shifting adjusted Note: the bike is shown in the pics without pedals installed, but I can provide basic platform pedals if you don't already have pedals that you want to use with the bike. Also, the front brake is currently disconnected, but this will be resolved prior to any test rides / sale. I'm selling the bike for $200 (firm, and cash only please). I feel this is a good deal for a decent quality, fully refurbished road bike, and so I'm really not interested in any lower offers or any haggling over the price. Please message me if you have any questions, or if you would like to set up a time to meet up so you can check out the bike.
